Uncle Bill’s hands were weathered strong,
From years of work and humming songs.
He cast his line in quiet streams,
And planted gardens full of dreams.

He loved the woods at break of day,
The call of life along the way.
With hunting stories, laughter loud,
He could light up any crowd.

A guitar resting in his hands,
Would fill the room with songs so grand.
And when he sang, hearts gathered near,
Because his love was always clear.

He worked so hard through all the years,
Through joy and struggle, sweat and tears.
Until the day he earned his rest,
After giving life his very best.

He touched so many with his heart,
The kind of soul set far apart.
