Remade remain the same

Another day, another blade passes through the cage,
I am remade but remain the same.
Each time my pen paints a page
I paint the stage with the same blade
that's stained in the colors of rage and pain and rain!
I am insane but remain sane on the outside:
Unfazed by the plays played by the devils inside my brain!
Not saying that I don't mind, just that I can't find the time
to beat the beasts that beat in the same box where beats my heart!
It's an outrage that I can't think straight as these rivers of red
run from my chest and I can't reset
so I'll just regret and repent the days I spent as a reject
trying to gain some respect that I have no right to expect,
So please! forgive and forget what I just said,
I am ash on the end of a bloodstained cigarette;
best dressed in blood and bone, stone cold
a long way from a home I don't even know
where I suppose it snows because of ice that flows
through my veins each time I say its name.
And the stained stage Pierced by the stained blade
sings along to the song played by the devil as he rips apart
the bars of my ribcage.
I prayed for wings and was given a pair made of roots and thorns
to remind me that I was born to be grounded
and hounded by monsters of my own making.
The devils are mine, The beasts are mine ,The blade is mine
The cage is mine!
The stage is mine.
